Our mission is dedicated to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to experience a quality arts education.

How we got here

For over 20 years, the Find Your Light Foundation has been committed to the national movement for arts education equity. Here are some milestones in that journey.

2005

Josh Groban Foundation established. Received initial $50,000 donation at Greek Theatre Concert from Grobanites for Charity.

2009

Josh Groban testifies to Congress on behalf of Arts Education and commits to growing the impact of his family’s philanthropy for that purpose.

2012

Name formally changed to Find Your Light Foundation.

2015

$1M in grants cumulatively provided to 95 organizations nationwide over the past decade.

2015

Grobanites for Charity merges with Find Your Light Foundation.

2025

Over $5.5 M in grants provided to 311 organizations nationwide over the prior decade.

2026

In this year alone, Find Your Light Foundation provides $1.5 million in support to over 250 organizations in 40 states reaching over 600,000 students.

Find Your Light Foundation provides $1.5 million in support to over 250 arts organizations

The Find Your Light Foundation announced that in its most recent grant cycle it awarded over $1.5 million of support to 257 organizations across 40 states, impacting the lives of 600,000 K-12 students. These organizations and their incredible teaching artists are leaders in delivering arts education in dance, music, theatre, visual arts, photography, and creative writing.
